About Royal Enfield Himalayan :-
The Himalayan is an all rounder motorcycle built on an all new platform form Royal Enfield. It is a 411 cc adventure motorcycle which was partly develop in the united kingdom. The motorcycle brings a series of firsts for the brand.
In term of styling,it is purposeful.minimalistic styling and no fancy curves and crease. The motorcycle comes in white or black or white with a neat Himalyan graphics running axross the centre of motorcycle. Recently, thr sleet has been added to the range.
The Himalayan is powered by a fuel injected 411 cc single cylinder air cooled engine that produce 24.4 bhp at 6500 rpm and peak torque of 32Nm at 4000-4500rpm. This engine is mated to a five speed gearbox.
Talking about is braking, the himalayan gets a 300mm single Bybre disc twin piston calliper at the rear. ABS is offered as an option, but the sleet does not get this option.
The suspension duties of the bike are taken care of by 41mm telescopic forks at the front with 200 mm travel and a monoshock in the rear. These are on\off tyres, as benefits the motorcycle.
The motorcycle comes with the number of addition accessories, from aluminium panniers to an after market exhust. For Rs 26,000 more, you can opt for the sleet edition which is a diffrent looking upgrade version. It get a grey comouflage paint scheme, and the Explorer kit is offered as standard with the sleet. what it nets you is two 26 litres aluminium panniers, a handlebar with a cross brace and an engine guard. The sleet is limited ti just 500 units. The Himalyan currently faces no direct competition, although the Hero xpluse 200 will join it in the segment at the end of 2018. The standard Himalayan is available in either white or black. It is priced at Rs 1.68 lakh onward.
